A Future Look at Today

Listen to the Future – Now!

Readers know that I am involved with The Sarasota Institute – A 21st Century Think Tank.  Along with Philip Kotler, Jason Apollo Voss I co-founded the Institute back in 2017 with a vision of creating something new, exciting, and influential by 2020. Last year I became the Managing Director.

The Sarasota Institute is not a think tank influenced by politics, policy or corporations.  We have selected the 10 topics that are across the top of our web site as areas of focus.  We face the future, and, with our members and invited thought leaders strive to frame the questions on these big issues facing Sarasota, the United States, and the world.

In January and February 2020, we put on two large symposiums on the future of education and on the climate crisis.  Then COVID-19 hit, and we had to go virtual until now.  We doubled our membership and are now relaunching the Institute with both in-person and virtual symposia.  The remaining 2021 symposia will be posted in early September once all details have been finalized.

We have completed 10 podcasts, each approximately 30 minutes in length.  They are now ready and available wherever you get your podcasts. You can listen directly to or download from our podcast page.    All the links below are from our syndicator buzzsprout and Spotify.

The Sarasota Institute – A 21st Century Think Tank expects to publish at least one podcast per month covering our 10 topics.  We hope you enjoy them and will share the ones you like with others.  Our goal is for you to hear the future now.

[NOTE:  If you would like to become a member, please go to our home page.  We have two levels of membership.  First is the Local membership which provides members with the opportunity to attend our 6+ symposiums in person, free whitepapers and membership only recordings of all symposiums.  The Global membership is for those not living on the Florida Gulf Coast and provides access to everything but the ability to attend in-person events.

The Institute is a 501 ( c) (3) non-profit corporation.  Of course we are open to any donations at any time, from anyone or anything.
